Welcome to Denfurlong Farm Caravan site.
Denfurlong Farm caravan site lies in the heart
of the Cotswolds within the Cotswold Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Set in 400
acres of rolling, wooded farmland, our spacious
site offers the peace and tranquillity of the Cotswold countryside in which to relax
and unwind.
We are a quiet site, with no hard standing or electric hook up, and want to remain
that way, so we ask for everyone to be respectful of this and keep noise to a
minimum.
Our site is the perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Whether by car, foot,
bike or horse there are a host of paths and routes to choose from.
For those who want to stay a little closer to home we have 400 acres of land for
you to explore. Within that there is an old railway line which is a SSSI (Site of
Special Scientific Interest) and is also now a noted site of geological interest, steep
valleys and hills, wooded areas and plenty of trees to climb and make dens in.
We are a working farm so there are often tractors to be seen, activities range from
ploughing and sowing in the winter to hay making and combining in summer. The
cattle are located at our farm at the other end of the village, but their milk is
delivered fresh to our farm shop every day.
Animals on site are our horses (and foals during the summer) and our miniature
Shetland pony Black-Jack.
Our site is nice and spacious, so even when full you will never be too close to
your neighbours - unless you choose to be!
Site Office & Shop/Cafe
Our site office is also our farm shop and café. We are
open from 9am everyday and provide:
• freshly baked bread and milk
• daily newspapers & magazines*
• on and off licence
• take away fish & chips or curry Fridays 12-9pm
• Calor Gas (propane, butane)
• homemade ice cream
• local meat and vegetables
Our shop is not only stocked with lots of lovely local produce, we also have
everything you might forget, from toilet paper to washing up liquid, cornflakes to
gravy granules and everything in between.
*We can order in any paper/magazine for you so
if you have a special requirement please let us know.
