Local beer & wines
Double Donn Beer is brewed at Donnington Brewery
near Stow-on-the-Wold. Water is taken from the spring
on site. The original water wheel at the mill still turns
some of the machinery that makes the beer.
Fruit wines from St Annes Winery. Try strawberry and
redcurrant or spicy apple for something a bit different.
Local cooking ingredients Wessex Mill flour is milled in Wantage, Oxfordshire using local wheat. It gives excellent results making bread making easy and rewarding. R-Oil is cold-pressed Rapeseed Oil, made simply by pressing the rapeseed and is grown in the Cotswolds. It is entirely natural and unadulterated and is extracted in the same way as extra virgin olive oil but is lower in saturated fat. |
