Recipe ideas
We are a family business run by Rosanne and her daughter Amy, (the third and
fourth generations in the Finch family). The Finches have lived and farmed in
Chedworth since the early 1900s when Cecil Finch moved to the village from A?
near Gloucester.
The farm buildings we are based in used to be a milking parlour. We moved the
cattle that used to live here to another part of the farm and the milking in these
buildings stopped. They were lying empty until we had the idea to start up a farm
shop.
Planning was granted and we converted the old milking parlour into the farm shop
and the cubicle sheds became the coffee shop and village green.
The building work began in May 2005 and was originally meant to be completed
by October 2005. As is the case with all the best laid plans things got behind
schedule and we eventually opened our doors to the first customers on March 1st
2006.
Since then we have slowly been expanding what we can offer and with new things
arriving the whole time it is always worth a visit.
